Tahoe Relay 2007

Updated May 14, 2007

The Tahoe Relay will take place on Saturday June 9, 2007. The event circumnavigates Lake Tahoe anti-clockwise, starting at South Shore at 7am and finishing back at South Shore late Saturday afternoon.

We have booked accomodation in suites at http://www.tahoedeerfieldlodge.com. The suite is 720 square feet and will accomodate 5 or 6. They have 3 queen beds - 2 in the bedroom, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The price includes breakfast, accomodation and a 'happy hour' reception at 6pm on Friday and Saturday evening.

We hope to have 2 teams of 7. The legs are about 10 miles - so your run will be about 1hr 30mins. The event starts at South Shore at 7pm and team 1 will run legs 1-4. Team 2 will 'take over' in Tahoe City about 1pm and finish around 5.30pm. Happy Hour at the Lodge will be followed by a team celebration and dinner.

Of course you're welcome to book your own accomodation elsewhere and still join us for the Saturday Night Celebration.

What else has to be arranged?

We will discuss meals/teams/transport and other details when we're certain about who is going.

The Celebration on Saturday Night's going to be lots of fun. We might do our own BBQ, have a pot-luck, go out for dinner - or take up the Lodge's offer to entertain us.

If you have a preference for any special leg or team, of course we'll try to fix this. However we'll fix this when we're certain about who's going to run.

We intend to car-pool and again we'll arrange this when we know who's going.
