The race is a 10k flat, beautiful road loop alongside the Big Sur River, through redwood and oak groves of the Pfeiffer State Park, Big Sur at 10am on Saturday. We camp overnight in the park and share good company round the campfire.

There is a complimentary massage for all 10k runners at the finish.  It has become a Striders' tradition to have pancakes in celebration after the race. Bill Jones and Peggy Alfred are organizing a group to which you are cordially invited to join.
