The Stevens Creek Striders Running Club was selected to receive the 2010 Most Supportive Organization Award at the 18th Annual Hobbees Achievement Awards.  On the evening of January 24th Striders Treasurer, Michael Dhuey and President, Gene McKiernan were presented a congratulatory plaque from Hobbees management and employees which may soon be seen mounted in our eating area the Cupertino Hobbees Restaurant.

 
  In 1993, Hobbees began an annual tradition of recognizing their most outstanding employees and customers, in addition to supportive businesses and organizations. The Hobee's Achievement Awards are handed out each year in January  The nominees in each award category are voted on by employees and winners are chosen by a blue ribbon panel consisting of one representative from each Hobee's Restaurant.

Both winners and runners up in each category are recognized at the event with framed certificates and prizes. Winners receive their names on the perpetual plaques which are currently on display at the Hobee's Wall of Fame at Hobee's Palo Alto.
