Newsletters: What's Afoot?

Carol Borders has just unearthed the missing 1999 annal plus a few more newsletters from the early 90s. So we are pleased to add the scans here.  Thanks Carol.

We are still sorting out how to best scan the photos from the last 27 years to keep them for posterity and identify the Striders therein.

Newly published: from 1999: Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Dec,  and more recently: Dec 2001, Mar 2002, Jul 2004, Nov 2009.

The Club Board has recently decided to publish the newsletters on line.  Initially these consisted of those editions that we already have in electronic format.  However we have now digitized our many years of printed newsletters and added them to this page.  The scanned documents were also 'read' by an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) reader and indexed with that data.  This means you can not only search the pdf document you have open, but also Google should be able to trawl it.  Then using the Search-this-Site button at left you will hopefully find good hits across the whole Striders website and all the newsletters.

The newsletters are complete except that I have omitted the membership rosters due to some people's privacy concerns.

Please look in your files to see if you have any pdf Newsletters from 2002 to date that are not shown below. If you have please email the board.
