Olivia's Miles

5k run/walk, 1 mile run, children's run Presented by the Runners High

Fremont Park, the corner of Santa Cruz & University Ave Menlo Park, CA

Day-of registration and packet pick up starts at 7:00 am
8:00 am: 1 mile race
8:30 am: 5k run/walk
9:15 am: children's run
9:30 am: awards

Proceeds from Olivia's Miles 5k run/1 mile race on September 8, 2007 benefit the fight against childhood life-threatening conditions in three ways: support, research, and education.

Olivia's Miles will continue to donate thousands to help cover medical costs of children in the Bay Area with similar life threatening conditions.

Olivia's parents, Micheline and Adam Kemist (owners of the Runners High) have generously funded research dedicated to finding treatments and cures for childhood life-threatening conditions by donating many thousands of dollars to the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. This funding could not be possible without Olivia's Miles.

In 2007 Olivia's Miles will provide funding to develop online resources for parents, family, friends, and caregivers of children with life threatening conditions. This new program will support Healing in Community Online, a project of Sophia's Garden. www.sophiasgarden.org
